| Details: | Ovations Salon & Spa teamed up with Ouidad to support The Breast Cancer Research Foundation (www.bcrf.org) again with Curls for a Cure. We donated 10% of the revenue generated by our Ouidad product sales during September and October. Ovations also sold raffle tickets and chocolates to help raise money. Chris Bagdons went above and beyond and donated 100% of all revenue generated by his massage services on Wednesday, October 19th to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Lastly, we had a Facebook Silent Auction from donated items. Ouidad, the Curl Experts, matched our donation dollar for dollar. | |

This annual event features many local celebrities modeling trendsetting clothing. The event will be held in the ballroom overlooking beautiful Lake Minnetonka with dinner, silent auction and music by the Scotts on the main level and under the tent. New this year is a private meet and greet with your favorite local celebrities. This was Mark Steine's second year involved with SAVE's Annual Celebrity Fashion Show. The event was held at Bayview Event Center on beautiful lake Minnetonka. SAVE suicide awareness through voices of eduation raises money with events and donations to increase awareness of suicide. Mark and the staff at Ovations helped raise $37,000 this year by hosting an Avante-garde Hair Show along with fashion worn by local celebrities. Master of Ceremonies for the Fashion Show was KS95 radio personality Dez, making this her third appearance at the event. Models included Elizabeth Reis and John Hanson from KSTP's Twin Cities Live, Staci Mathews from KS95's Moon and Staci show, Meteorologist Paul Douglas, 102.9 Lite FM Radio Personality Beth Kidd, WCCO TV's Rebekah Wood and Esme Murphy, radio personality and entrepreneur Teri Knight and Chris Feytag, KARE11's Fitness Expert. Fabulous fashions, great food, a fantastic silent auction and music by The Scotts made this wonderful evening. | |

| Details: | Ovations teamed up with Eufora to help fundraising efforts in support of Child Help for prevention and treatment of child abuse (www.childhelp.org). Clients donated $1 for a Child Help bracelet, $5 for a Child Help t-shirt, or they donated $10 for a chance to win the "Taste of Ovations" a sampling of services and retail products from throughout the salon and spa valued at almost $1,000! Ovations customers donated $221 over the month of April and Ovations donated $125 of Eufora sales to help as well. In total we raised $346 for Child Help. | |

| Details: | In February Ovations became a Ouidad, the curl experts, affiliate salon. We sent two stylists to New York to learn the specialized Ouidad carve and slice technique, rake and shake styling method and all the details on their specialty line of curly hair products. This was a fun event to help share some tips and tricks with the curly girls out there and two lucky ladies got to experience the Ouidad cut and style for the first time. | |
